Task I. Video Quiz.

Task  II.   Change the sentences into the passive voice and rewrite them.

Example: The terrible news shocked everybody yesterday.
Everybody was shocked by the terrible news yesterday.

1.  A pop star bought a house.
2. They paid her good money for her tunes.
3.  They published this dictionary a week ago.
4.  My granny sent me a nice birthday postcard.
5.  Ian Fleming wrote books about James Bond.

Task III.  Imagine that you are a journalist presenting the hit of the week in the musical newscolumn of a newspaper. Write down your presentation trying to advertise the song as well as possible. 

Use the phrases as a plan.

— Song’s title;
 — who performs it;
— musical style/genre;
— what it’s about;
— why to listen.

Task 1. You spent a weekend at your friend's house in the countryside. Write a letter to your English friend: 

-describing the house and the setting,
-tell about something that happened that weekend,
-give some advantages of living in the countryside,
-give your opinion on where you would like to live in the future.

Write your answer in at least 150 words.

10 grade. Get 200. Book 1.
